Manchester’s finest flocked to Canal Street for a VIP summer launch party of Marco Pierre White’s new restaurant in the city and Influential’s client, Mr White’s English Chophouse.

The special event, hosted by the renowned Velvet Hotel, which is the home of Mr White’s English Chophouse, gave guests the chance to sample some of the famed chef’s signature Chophouse dishes.

Visitors were also invited to relax in the Velvet Hotel’s newly refurbished bar, where Veuve Clicquot champagne and Manchester Gin cocktails were served.

The welcome was provided by the sassiest trio in Manchester, Girls That Mix, led by DJ Emma Wilkinson who performed live saxophone grooves and percussion beats on the street for guests to enjoy on arrival.

Salford swing singer Alexander Stewart and DJ Jamie Bull, were both on hand to provide a lively sound-track for the party.

Mr White’s English Chophouse officially opened its doors last month, with a menu created by Marco Pierre White himself.

The launch party at Mr. White’s English Chophouse was a lively success, with Kim Eivind Krohn, owner of KRO Hospitality, the proprietor of Velvet Hotel, commenting: “It was a wonderful evening, with an excellent turn-out and we hope that many more people will now come to enjoy our venue and sample the amazing dishes featuring on Marco’s menu.”

The Manchester venue is the latest in Marco Pierre White’s new Chophouse brand. Influential began working with KRO Hospitality, who operate the Velvet Hotel and Bar, following our success working with Pierre White’s Wheeler’s of St James’s restaurant in Liverpool.

The Oyster Bar and Grill opened in November last year at the Pullman Liverpool, a four-star hotel Influential’s B2C team have been working with closely for two years. Following a successful launch party in December, the acclaimed chef’s second restaurant in the city is growing in popularity.
