The consultation aims were to gain public feedback on the plans for Mayfield β a 24 acre site about to be regenerated into a world-class urban neighbourhood and city-centre park in Manchester.
We worked closely with our client β specialist regeneration developer U+I, to map out an integrated comms campaign to drive local footfall to our consultation events.
Our marketing team built a custom digital survey tool that was housed on the Mayfield website, as well as a portable version to be used on site at events, to gather public feedback and comments. The data gathered is currently being analysed by our Marketing Insights team, to enable U+I to include public feedback in shaping the plans for the Mayfield neighbourhood.
James Heather, Development Director for the Mayfield project said, βThe expertise and dedication shown by the Influential team was paramount to the success of our public consultation, and effectively reaching the community is essential to the values and mission of the Mayfield Partnership.β
Public response to the consultation events was overwhelmingly positive, and our team on site were fully briefed to be able to manage any queries or sentiment around the plans for the area. Social media comments praised the transparency and success in informing and engaging directly with the public, through our integrated campaign and events approach.
